About GOPA

GOPA, or Groupe Ornithologique des Pyrénées et de l’Adour, is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to studying, monitoring, and conserving birdlife in the Pyrenees and the Adour Basin. Established over a decade ago, GOPA has become a regional authority in ornithology, fostering scientific understanding, environmental stewardship, and community involvement through research, educational programs, and conservation efforts.
